A) What is your favorite catch-phrase?
Erm, I don't catchphrase much, so erm.... "Holy jumping Moses on a pickled unicorn, Batman!"

B) If you could be in a band (genre of your choice), what would you preform as?
Blues singer, because Yamane Mai is a fantastic influence, and I'd wear nice things, but simple things.

C) Would you consider yourself an introvert, or an extrovert?
Perfectly in the middle.  I like my solitude, and I like my people.

D) What is an ideal day for you?
Winning the Powerball above 200m, and getting a $20/hour raise from my work, and instantly becoming good at Japanese sword-work.  And maybe a zombie semi-apocalypse to top things off.  Not a total meltdown, just some stress relief

E) What is your favorite form of art?
All of it, probably topped by literature.  I love movies and all, but technology is only recently catching up with the imagery in books, so until it really gets going well, books still take it.  Also, traditional hand-drawing/painting/etc is cool.

F) Pepsi or Coke? (Or something else?)
Um, I recently gave up soda, so.... Wine!

G) Your house gets broken-into right now, you have the time to grab anything within five feet of you to protect yourself, what will you use?
At this moment, it's the ball peen hammer in my living room next to my anvil.  I don't mind the mess blunt trauma will do to someone dumb enough to break into my house, and I've been broken into before.  I will not go through that again.

H) Do you like trains?
NO NO NO NO WAIT----*squished*
yes, I like trains, they're cool

I) If you had super-natural powers, what would they be (pick two)?
Oh dear, immortality and eternal youth.  If I could combine those two into one, then I would add psychokinesis to the lot.

J) If you had a time machine, and it would not create a destructive paradox in the measurements of time and space, where would you first go and what would you do?
Ancient times, here I come.  I would track down Atlantis, working backward from Egypt.

I don't doodle like I used to. I don't write like I used to. I don't make music like I used to. I am finally being honest with myself and waiting out my block patiently. Impatiently. Tooth-grinding, steam-from-the-ears, sullen rage impatience, actually. But, I can't make it start up again. I have to let it happen on its own.

I'm still lurking here off and on, tho. I diligently check my watch list about 4 times a week (more often than my email actually).  I have also found the greatest endeavor of fiction I've ever seen, the Escape Artist podcasts, Escape Pod, PseudoPod, and Podcastle. The short fiction there is little by little changing my outlook on life, and making me optimistic about surviving my drought.

Send some prayers in whatever form you like myway. I hope to get a new job this summer, and I hope it helps.  Please please please check out the podcasts, they're phenomenal, and I swear you won't be disappointed

oh what a mess.  looking at a life change, and i'm afraid of it and afraid of not going through it.

oh and, i discovered i'm not wired the way i thought i was.  it's just been a catastrophic month.

but my creative faucet is back on....

blah, what a mess.

i am also getting my first tattoo this friday, props to Lady of the Lake tattoo shop in Colorado, the owner has a smashing portfolio and tons of experience.  wish me luck!

I realize it's been about a year since I've posted any drawings of import here, so now that I have a WORKING scanner, here is a big batch of my sketches from the last year.

99% of these sketches and drawings were done in the downtime where I worked for the last two years.  I would put a part into the machine, press go, clean up the last part, and in the time between finishing cleaning and the end of the machine cycle, I either wrote short stories or doodled.  23 gems from the doodles section are coming today

I'll have to look into posting some of the short story gems, but those are still going into a published volume once I have the cash to put in front of the publisher.  I will post where this volume can be purchased (don't worry, it will be cheap) as soon as I have it all finalized and confirmed.
